Hog
In Jamaica, 'hog' lives mostly in 'hog plum' — the sweet-tart yellow fruit of the Spondias mombin tree (also called Spanish plum or yellow mombin), a cousin of the mango. Come season, pickney shake the trees and strip dem bare.
